The company specializes in custom hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic rotary actuators and fluid viscous dampers (FVDs), supported by piston accumulators, hydraulic power systems and hydraulic valves.

ASHUN describes itself as a technical partner rather than a catalogue supplier: engineering, machining, welding, cleaning, assembly and testing are kept largely in-house so that components can be matched to the customer’s installation, load case and operating environment.

40 Years of Hydraulic Innovation

Founded in 1984 as Ashun Machine Industrial Co., Ltd., the company changed its English name to ASHUN FLUID POWER CO., LTD. in 2008 and has grown into a supplier to Tier-1 machinery manufacturers in North America, Europe and Japan. A long-term technical partnership with KYB Corporation of Japan shaped its quality control and production management systems.

Manufacturing takes place at a facility spanning more than 15,840 m² in Taichung, Taiwan, with DMG MORI mill-turn centers, FANUC and KUKA robotic automation, and YASKAWA robotic welding. The in-house laboratory uses Mitutoyo CMM and roundness/surface measurement equipment, ultrasonic flaw detection and fluid contamination monitoring.
