ASHUN describes its quality and compliance framework as spanning quality engineering, product safety and environmental responsibility. The certifications below are stated on the company’s capabilities page and development timeline.
Quality and Aerospace Management #
- AS9100 — Aerospace quality management certification, achieved in 2018. ASHUN describes itself as Taiwan’s first fluid power manufacturer to obtain AS9100.
- ISO 9001:2015 — Quality management system, certified in 2018. The company was first certified to ISO 9001:2000 in 1999.
- ASME — Certification obtained in 2020.
Product Safety and Laboratory Validation #
- EU PED 2014/68/EU (Module H1) — Piston accumulators are certified under the European Pressure Equipment Directive. Accumulators first passed PED certification in 2016.
- TAF-accredited laboratory — Fluid viscous damper performance is independently validated in a TAF-accredited laboratory. ASHUN states it is Taiwan’s only damper manufacturer integrating design, manufacturing and certification, with its own TAF-accredited laboratory.
- TAF accreditation history — Certificate No. L3808-210325 (2021) and updated Certificate No. L4209-240223 (2024).
Environment, Energy and Safety #
- ISO 14001 — Environmental management system; first certified to ISO 14001:2004 in 2016.
- ISO 45001 — Occupational health and safety management system.
- ISO 50001 — Energy management system, certified in 2017.
- ISO 14064-1 — Greenhouse gas inventory completed. The company timeline also records ISO 14001-1 greenhouse gas inventory verification in 2024.
- OHSAS 18001:2007 — Occupational health and safety certification obtained in 2016, later superseded by ISO 45001.
Information Security #
- ISO 27001:2022 — Information security management system, certified in 2026.
