From a Local Machine Works to a Global Fluid Power Supplier #
ASHUN was founded in 1984 in Taiwan as Ashun Machine Industrial Co., Ltd. Over four decades the company moved from general machine manufacturing into precision hydraulic actuators, built an OEM relationship with a Japanese Tier-1 manufacturer, and expanded into North American, European and Japanese supply chains.
Company Background #
Founded in 1984, ASHUN is headquartered at No. 18, Jingke S. Rd., Nantun Dist., Taichung City, Taiwan. Its product scope covers custom hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic rotary actuators, fluid viscous dampers, piston accumulators, hydraulic power systems and hydraulic valves.
A defining relationship began in 2002, when the company partnered with Japan’s KYB-ES and became its only overseas OEM manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders. That partnership shaped the production discipline and quality control that ASHUN applies today. Since 2002, its fluid power solutions have been integrated into the supply chains of Tier-1 global machinery manufacturers.
